Feeds won't complete updating

My reader won't complete the updating proces unfortunatly. It keeps refreshing without any new additions to several of my feeds and most of them are showing a warning sign.
How can this problem be fixed? I like this reader and I hope it can be fixed.

Old and annoying problem. There's a set of posts about a year old about the same thing. Seriously, if you can't or won't fix it properly, how about a button to abort any updates that are running?
