I am sure that you are aware of Ekta Parishad's Campaign for land rights for the landless people. They are organising a protest rally on 13th and 14th April 2013 in Delhi in which about 6000 landless people will participate from all over India. The government has assured them earlier in the month of October they will do the needful within six months. Now the six months are over and they have come to Delhi to remind the government of its promises. This is to request you to kindly sign this petition and if you are in Delhi, please join them at Jantar Mantar on 13th and 14th April to express your solidarity.
With kind regards,

The message from Ekta Parishad reads as follows:
Dear Friends,
We have two days left to secure land reform agenda in India!
· Crucial steps and promised by the Government to be realized before April 11th and this could decide the fate of 35 years of struggle for land justice by Ekta Parishad and other Social Movements.
· The Jan Satyagraha that culminated in a massive march last October is doubling its pressure on the government, and bringing in global voices in support of the campaign.
Rajagopal PV, the leader of Ekta Parishad, says: "The support of the indian citizens and people around the world is such an important part of this struggle. If these reforms are implemented, it will mean millions of people can start supporting themselves on their own small plots of land. It will give fresh life to long neglected legislation that should be protecting the rights of poor and marginalised communities. Let us not forget that land is life."
This is where you come in: Support the land struggle of Ekta Parishad and its partners and put your signature in this online petition or place a FREE missed call to +91 113 0715-351.
In hope,
Ekta Parishad
