As Kadri mentioned: How can people join this Network? Here are some possibilities:
Mailinglist (BalTran...@googlegroups.com)
·
go to webpage groups.google.com/group/baltransition and
click on APPLY FOR MEMBERSHIP ![]()
or
· write and email to Paavo or Sune
Webpage (www.BalTransition.org)
“Very Soon” (tonight?) there will be a short introduction on the front page. Any designers around for a nice looking (very simple) thing? Then contact Sune.
On the webpage there will be links to
· Blog (www.BalTransition.org/blog)
· Mailinglist
· Photos
· Shared Documents
· more?
At the moment the webpage will NOT be indexed by search-engines (like Google), as it is ment for internal use, and not public information.
I suppose that when we are ready with an “official” webpage, then the internal news will move behind a password – a very simple one J
ABOUT MAILINGLIST USE
·
You can view previous messages by
visiting the mailinglists webpage groups.google.com/group/baltransition
·
BE AWARE that if you answer an email
from the mailinglist - then your answer will go to ALL OTHER MEMBERS.
If you want your answer to go only to the sender of the mail, then you have to
change the receiver (in the "To:" field) in your email!
(if this is resulting in loads of "private" mails going to all
members, then we change so answer will go default to sender).
·
If you post a new message, please remember
to make a good introduction in the SUBJECT-line.
Do not just answer a previous mail, without changing the subject and deleting
irrelevant previous text, if the subject is a new one… ;-)
Other mail-systems
We have endless email-addresses available at @BalTransition.org, to use for smaller groups, or “functional” contact-emailadresses.
At the moment we have only one active mail-address:
·
IT@baltransition.org
(receivers are 4 from the IT-group).
The IT-group use this mailgroup for discussions and to tell the otherswhat we
do with the IT communication systems
You can also use the mailaddress to questions and proposals!
If anyone wants to join this list – write an email J
It is easy to create more mail-addresses: contact I...@BalTransition.org.
For example if you want a small mailgroup for members of a Project-group, or if you want an “official” mail-address, related to our group.
The advantage of using a mailgroup, instead of adding all people in the To:-field, is for example that it is easy for new members to join the group…
Goood Day, and hopefully you just read what you found interesting for You, in this Technical Mail J Sune
