Description:
Tired of boring presentation slides packed with text and bullet
points? Are you guilty of creating a few of them yourself? Learn a
better way to create more engaging and effective presentations. Prezi
is a new tool for creating presentation visuals that can lead you to a
whole new way of thinking about your talks. Angelie Agarwal, Chief
Evangelist for Prezi, will demonstrate the software and talk to us
about how Prezi can help create better narratives and more persuasive
presentations. She'll also provide basic hands-on training for anyone
who is interested. Just bring your own WiFi-enbabled laptop if you'd
like to participate. This will be a great learning opportunity for
anyone who creates or delivers presentations and is interested in
making them better, including trainers, marketing people, librarians
and lawyers. Please encourage anyone you think might be interested to
attend.
A light breakfast of bagels/pastries will be provided. Bring your own
WiFi-enabled laptop if you'd like to try Prezi and participate in the
hands-on training portion of this session.

Angelie Agarwal is Chief Evangelist at Prezi. With a background in
engineering and passion for communication, Angelie found a niche at
Prezi. She loves working with colleagues to establish Prezi's U.S.
presence.
If you have colleagues in other firms or others within your own firm
who share your interest in this topic, please invite them to attend
with you. Nonmembers are always welcome at our events, and we're
hopeful they'll learn a little bit about ILTA from the experience.
