Getting Attorneys into the Classroom - Why Would You Want Them There?
As technical trainers, we know we have valuable information to share,
but client work is more demanding and time is a precious commodity.
When it's you versus the billable hour, you know who wins. Learn new
approaches to coaching and consulting. Now is the time to move out of
the classroom and into a more learner-centered and focused method that
can be applied at the individual or practice group level.
Speaker(s)
Michelle Spencer currently provides all IT support for Bracewell &
Giuliani's Austin office and assists firmwide with their training
needs. She has been working for Texas law firms since high school in
various positions and always ended up helping and training people.
For the past 11 years, she has been doing training and desktop support
and finds that understanding the demands on her users, the work they
do and speaking their language helps tremendously.
Tami Schiller has over 20 years of experience at law firms, with the
last 10 years focused on legal technology training. During her eight
years at Jackson Walker, her training team has introduced CLE-
accredited technical training, corporate university-style training and
e-learning to the firm. Tami continues to search for innovative ways
to deliver technical knowledge and understanding to the busy
professionals at her firm.
