·         VMWare installation, configuration, support, and trouble shooting

·         Administer the backup system used to preserve critical company data

·         Refine, automate, manage, and document processes and policies

·         Windows Systems and Server management

·         Veem and Backup Exec configuration and support

·         Proficient in HP, Cisco, Dell, EMC hardware installation, configuration and support

·         Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills (both technical and non-technical), with an emphasis on Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities

·         Capable of multi-tasking effectively and efficiently

·         Exceptional customer service orientation

·         Highly self-motivated and directed

·         Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment

·         Lead, manage, and anchor VMWare technical team 

·         Achieve common business goals through cooperative alignment with all departments.

Qualifications

·         English skills must be proficient to understand, read, write and speak English

·         VMWare Certification

·         MCSE (2008 or later)

·         Related infrastructure support certifications

 

Work Experience:

·         Three to five years’ experience managing and maintaining small to medium sized business IT networks and systems

·         Experience should include but not be limited to:

·         Solar Winds Orion or other monitoring platforms.

·         SAN and NAS technologies like NetApp and EMC.

·         Fiber Channel and iSCSI SAN protocols.

·         VMWare and clustered VMs including Cloud computing environment

·         vSphere ESX Command-Line Troubleshooting Methods using SSH access, Cloud Director, vCenter Lab Manager, Virtual networks Fencing, standard/distributed switches, Linked Clones, Thin Provisioning, Consolidating Linked VMs.

·         Porting VM between different VMware Products and Versions P2V & Consolidation (Both Physical and VM)

 

Technical Knowledge:

·         Computer Proficient

·         VSphere ESXi technical architecture and interoperability knowledge

·         Integration of technology with business process needs. 

·         Microsoft Windows Server 2008/2013

·         Active Directory, Exchange, SharePoint 2010/2013

·         Scripting and automated configuration (Power Shell, Orchestrator).

·         Understanding of networking concepts: TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, DHCP, DNS, Routing, Switching and Firewalls, VLANs, QoS, IP Addressing, etc.

·         Data backup and recovery with VEEAM, Backup Exec or similar enterprise software

·         Responsible for administration, configuration, troubleshooting and support of server and desktop environments running Windows Operating Systems including Server 2008, 2008R2, 2012, 2012R2, XP, Win7, Win8, Win10.
