VMware Engineer III

DUTIES/TASKS
• Work with operations team to build ESXi servers
• Work with operations team to migrate VMs and ESXi from vSphere 5.0 and 6.0
• Help with Storage Migrations for VMs
• Help with windows imaging and work related to windows.
• Coordination and follow up on project related work.

SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
• Expert level knowledge of VMware vSphere 5.0, 5.5 including infrastructure components such as SSO, Auto Deploy, VUM.
• Expert level knowledge of VMware SRM [ Site Recovery Manager] with vSphere replication and Storage based replication
• Expert level knowledge in VMware vRealize Suite 5.5
• Experience with Microsoft Windows Server 2003, 2008, 2008 R2 and 2012.
• Experience with PowerShell Scripting or any other scripting tools
• Experience with managing Windows IIS server.
• Knowledge of working with CISCO UCS is a plus.
