This is REALLY late notice on this event, but I just found out about it over the weekend. This is run by G Andrew Duthie. He was a past speaker of the group a few months back. The call for speakers closes TODAY.
We’re running a new conference in Mid Atlantic, June 30th and July 1st, in Hampton Roads, VA. The content will include software development topics (both MS and other technologies), hardware hacking (robotics, microcontrollers, etc.), and we’re running two full-day mini conferences as part of the main conference, one on Thursday that will be an HTML5 Camp, and another on Friday for kids called MADKidz.
The Call for Speakers is currently open, and we’ve still got room for more speakers. We’re planning to close the call for speakers at noon on Monday, however, so if you wouldn’t mind letting folks know, that would be appreciated. Particularly interested in really good speakers, and open to non-traditional topics (one of the talks submitted currently is on the impact of nerd psychology, while another looks at the engineering of vacuum tubes in audio processing).
