If this is a leftover from previous tenants, I may take it home to see if my dad can fix it up for my mom.

Hey!

It's mine, but it had a few problems with the chain and I always hated the thing where you brake using the pedals. Besides, had a pretty bad experience when the chain jumped on a downhill, which meant I was not able to break... So, the point is that I was planning to give it away - so you're more than welcome to have it!

That sounds scary! I'll take it down to my dad and let him tinker with it. He is like the energizer bunny of senior citizens and always needs a project. He's a retired mechanic, so I figure he can work some magic hopefully. If not, then at least it will keep him entertained for a while.
