Color schemes for projectors

Last month there was some discussion of color theme optimization for recording the projector output.  Was there ever consensus on this?

I think with the lighting a dark background works better.  If you look at the autofocus and white-balance from the concurrency talk, you'll notice it gets much more sensible when Alex goes from slides to emacs.

Also, I haven't heard back from others, maybe we should push it back to the following week on the 14th?  Is that alright with you?

And, uh, speaking of which, is that like the indulgent patronage of your employer or does it come out of pocket?  As a grad student, I reflexively check myself from asking too many questions about any free food, but let me know if I can chip in.

Sure, that sounds great. Pizza and sodas are subsidized, not beer
though :-). Boss is of the opinion the meetup's good for the company.
