I had never seen this kind of 3-D printing. Impressive, but proprietary.

they have one at MICA, ccbc catonsville, umbc, and many other places around town.  zcorp's prints are super fragile.

But was scanning it really that easy or did they have a CAD guy go over the scan to clean it up?

It had to be cleaned up because the scanner isn't an x-ray so I don't see how It could have picked up the internals.  Todd, you said their prints are fragile but he used that wrench with enough force to break a plaster type print?

zcorp prints are fragile.  you can snap it with your bare hands.  after the first drop, they'll break too.

I've never used the zscanner, but mike at direct dimensions never speaks too highly of it.  There's one at ccbc catonsville that is never used
