Hi,BLAS,

Did we ever get a letter together to thank the city council for hearing our interests and returning this bill to a simple zoning bill?

It's great that city council listened to our concerns and should be acknowledged for their talents and leadership.  They have a tough job--keeping everybody happy while under many watchful and skeptical eyes.

Susie

Hey Susie- a couple of people acknowledged and/or thanked them at the public hearing before last, but a letter's a nice idea.  anyone interested in putting together a draft?

I still want to TRY and write one last piece of written testimony given some of what took place at the last hearing.  I will thank them within that, but I think a letter that just says "thank you" would be a nice, stand-alone gesture.

I could try to do that, but I'd personally rather wait until I see how the committee vote goes on Monday.

if you have a chance (or if anyone who was able to attend the last hearing does), could you send a little something with any high- or low-lights?

:)

Just did!!  But other notes would be awesome.  I didn't actually "take notes," so my little rundown was from memory.

I think 'applauding' them might be more appropriate than 'thanking'
them - they made a good decision, but they didn't do us a FAVOR.
