Dear all,

I have not received any comments on guidelines and forms till now, thus I have once more reviewed these documents and uploded anew edited guidelines on Baltech exchanges googlegroup. [File name: BSB Exchange 09_Guidelines_v2_LI.doc]

Most of the changes are insignificant but pay attention to application deadline - it is changed to 13th of March!
This is due to the following reasons:
- BALTECH Conference will take place on 26th, 27th March. We decided to do the evaluation during the Conference.
- We have not yet started promotioon of the Project in our universities

I urge you to make your comments on forms and guidelines and to answer to this e-mail ASAP. If you do not have any comments or suggestions please let me now it as well!

There is still one important thing to do until we start promoting. We have to collect contact information in all faculties! You just have to collect it and send to one of these e-mails or upload on googlegroup. (At the moment there are only contacts from TKK and RTU)
Please do it till monday 12th January!

Best regards,

Liga Indriksone

Dear all,

Contact information!

Today is 20th of January and we still have not received contact information from all Universities!
I have collected contact information from TKK, TTU, LTH and RTU.

What is going on in KTU, VGTU, LiU and KTH?
How fare are you with this? Could you manage this till the end of this week?

If there are some problems or you are not going to participate in this project, please let me know. Otherwise I have no idea why you are not answering to e-mails..

Promotion of the Project!
We have set the deadline for applications - 13th March, 2009.
This means that we have to start promoting the project!

All: please start doing something about this question! Start with some informative e-mails just to let others now that something is comming. Otherwise we won't get participants on March..

One more thing: I suggest not to use our google group in promotion as all materials in there are accessible for all visitors. And we have a lot of information there unrelated to the Project.
In next e-mail I will send all materials and contact lists I have in zip file. You can use this in spreading the information.

Waiting for your e-mails ASAP!

Dear all,

To inform you all, I have received an answer from Johan Fagerhem, Head of Education affairs in KTH student union. KTH has undergone changes in structure this year and this is why they are not sure about their participation in project this year.

Today I was talking to Goda from KTU and Skirmantas from VGTU. Terms that we agreed: they will send the contact list from their universities till the end of next week 30th of January! (due to faculty elections it can not be done earlier)

What about LiU? What have you decided on this?

Best regards,

Liga

P.S. I promise to think about application deadline.. As we are fully out of our terms, we can not hold on deadline set before..

hi all,

I have realized that a number of us haven't updated the contact list
pages here on the group. In order to do a serious and thorough
marketing/information campaign we need those names and email
addresses. I'd greatly appreciate if you could post your contact info
here, on the contact pages (even if you have sent it to Liga).

Best regards,
Ufuk

Dear all,

I finally received contact information from all participating universities! Thank you all for that! Now it is time to announce application for project!

But there is one more thing you need to know :)

Together with my team I have worked out a web site or so called blog for “BSB Exchange 2009”! :) The aim for this web site is to facilitate promotion of the project and to help you with spreading the information :)

In this blog you can find:

- Essential information about BSB Exchange
- BSB Exchange Guidelines
- List of project contact persons (you)
- Application documents
- And lists of student organizations in partner universities.

In addition to that we have made BSB Exchange forum to facilitate cooperation and communication between exchangers.

All files that contain contact information are protected with password: letsexchange09

And the most important – address for blog is: http://www.bsbexchange.blogspot.com

I am the blog administrator so if you have any suggestions, please let me know!

The first article on the top of the blog contains two important dates for all participants and also for you:

- Application stats on 5th February, 2009
- Application deadline on 20th March, 2009
Waiting for your comments if any ;)
