Job Description *****Baltimore Area***** .Must have excellent technical experience in the area of energy management .Must have experience in the sales of energy management solutions .Electrical or mechanical engineering degree or equivalent experience .Effective team leader and coordinator .Coordination with product divisions to develop complete, value added solutions .Clear understanding of energy management software solutions .Effective communication skills pertaining to energy management .Ability to communicate with all levels of an organization .Experience in developing credible value propositions for the technical solution .Must have Process Industry knowledge, know how and experience .Experience in energy audits, preparation of proposal, payback calculations .Ability to utilize software tools for calculation purposes - e.g. SINASAVE and DOE tools .Primary focus should be on motors, drives, automation, power monitoring and quality, lighting and controls .Understanding of the operation of fans, pumps, compressors, blowers, etc. in regards to energy efficiency and able to perform energy calculations Understanding of power quality issues and their impact to the plant or facility .Understanding of load shedding concepts and their implementation .Support development of business plans and marketing material .Certified Energy Manager, a plus bJob Family Responsibilities: Develops strategic business plans to support market share objectives. Guides operational units by providing marketing advice and leadership to ensure overall market effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities: Performs advanced areas of work for the professional field. Applies advanced skills to resolve complex problems not covered by existing procedures or practices independently. Displays a high level of critical thinking in bringing successful resolution to high-impact, complex, and/or cross-functional problems.
Education: Typically BS/BA in related discipline or advanced degree. Certification may be required in some areas.
Knowledge and Experience: Demonstrates and applies comprehensive knowledge of field of specialization to the successful completion of complex assignments. Demonstrates advanced knowledge of concepts, practices, and procedures of particular area of specialization. Demonstrates significant knowledge of organizations business practices and issues faced and contributes to problem resolution of those issues. Typically 8-10 years of successful experience in related field and successful demonstration of Key Responsibilities and Knowledge as presented above. Advanced degree MAY be substituted for experience, where applicable.
