Summary:
InfoZen is a leading provider of mission critical IT services and solutions to the public sector. Among its services, the company provides software engineering, data management, and IT services management. We are recruiting for a Tivoli Engineer for a large government contract.

Responsibilities:
· Responsible for installation, maintenance, and support systems management of Tivoli monitoring landscape to include the consolidation of multiple monitoring offerings into the Tivoli framework.
· Accountable for mapping future strategic process and monitoring architecture to new product enhancements.
· Work with product teams to understand and map process and monitoring needs to standard architecture.
· Maintain Tivoli components and respective rule bases, class definitions, rule sets, and scripts.
· Maintain and prune Tivoli databases.
· Create/maintain reports using Tivoli Service Level Advisor so users can easily run their own queries.
· Develop standard process and monitoring architecture
· Provide development instrumentation recommendation to product teams
· Provide reports and statistics on operation of system and application performance in supported environments
· Participate in capacity and disaster recovery planning and asset management
· Participate in cross-functional analysis of problems
· Develop and implements disaster recovery plans for standardized monitoring architecture
· Develop backup procedures and database administration processes for critical business data and manages consolidation and archival of application/log data
· Provide second/third tier support during monthly outages and special rollouts, including troubleshooting, correcting system and security problems
· Monitor system, application security and performance tuning as appropriate
· Recover failed systems, define hardware configurations, manage system security policies, consolidation and archival of application/log data.

Minimum Qualifications:
The candidate will be able to clearly demonstrate an understanding of the following;
· Possess extensive experience in Tivoli Monitoring, Netcool/OMNIbus and Tivoli Enterprise Console.
· IT Change and Problem Management
· Production Support of Tivoli
· Develop System Operating Procedures
· Perform System Performance Tuning
· Implementation Tivoli System Mgmt/Monitoring
· Create Tivoli Deployment
· ITM
· Distributed Monitoring
· IBM AIX
· Must have a general knowledge of scripting (Perl, Shell, etc) and operating systems UNIX/ LINUX and Windows.

Preferred Qualifications:
· IBM Certified Tivoli Administrator
· Certified Tivoli Deployment Professional in Tivoli Enterprise Console
· Identity Manager
· Monitoring,
· Netcool/OMNIbus
· Provisioning Management

Travel:
No travel required.

Education/Certification Requirement:
A Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or other related scientific or technical discipline with 7 or more years related professional experience. (Education can be substituted for 11 years of experience).

Clearance:
Minimum: Must be clearable
Preference: Active Secret Clearance and above

8a-5p or 7a-4p
