Scouts - Annual Camp to Scotland

As we have indicated before we now intend to hold our Annual Camp at
Auchengillan Outdoor Education site in Scotland just north of Glasgow
from 3rd to the 12th of August.

The Scouts will fly to Glasgow and get a Bus transfer to the campsite
where our gear will have arrived by road.  Once our campsite has been
built and the site explored we will then engage in 2-3 on site activies
during the week from a list of climbing, abseiling, paradrop, kayaking,
canoeing, rafting, zorbing archery and shooting, activities to be
decided by the Scouts in the coming weeks.
After the hard days of cooking our own breakfast, lunch and dinners over
open fires and the aforementioned activities we will round off most days
with a leisurely swim in the onsite outdoor swimming pool.
On the days that we don't have onsite activities we will have an outing
to either Glasgow or Edinburgh and a second day still to be confirmed.
Not to mention all the socialising with the other groups onsite,
campfires and the all important gift shopping it is expected to be a
busy week :-)

The cost of this week will be €500 of which we will need to get a
deposit of €150 by the June 14th so we can secure the flights.  All
Scouts will need to have a passport and their European Health Insurance
card for the trip.

whether they will be attending.
