2. Salsa Series Begins this week. Join from the beginning to learn fast.

It's always a good idea to join the "series" if we want to learn faster and efficiently. You just don't improve if you rely on one-time class or keep changing your instructors.

Most of "series" aka progresive classes begins in the first week of each month. So start this week! It takes only once a week for up to 4-8 weeks only. That's only 4-8 classes! You will be walking out of the studio, knowing that you did learn something!

Hi all!

Thank you all for joining our Annual BBQ and Dance Party at my place last Saturday. Wow! What a great people and great day we had! Thank you again, everyone, for coming and helping and dancing and enjoying the wonderful birthday party with Jay and me! We were expected about 300 guests this year, but we doubled the number!

It's always a good idea to join the "series" if we want to learn faster and efficiently. We just don't improve when we rely on one-time class or keep changing your instructors. May I suggest that to improve your dancing skill you commit only 4-8 weeks at a time? It's a short-term commitment that you can definitely keep up!

Even if you weren't in the class last week, it may not be too late to join the series this week. So if you are still thinking about joining the series, stop thinking and attend the class NOW!

3. Hotel reservation for Summer Salsa Extravaganza.

I will send out a public email reminder separately about the hotel situation for the Salsa Extravaganza in Palm Springs. But because you are my friends and subscribers, I want to give you heads up first.

I want to remind you to book your hotel room at Wyndham Resort as soon as you can. Usually June is the month that the hotel sells out. So don't wait; book it right now.

Also, if you do not have event tickets by mid-July, you will be charged the full price for the hotel room. Your room may be even cancelled. The special price the hotel offers (about $95/night, regularly $250/night) is for the event attendees only. So be certain that you purchase the event pass. Besides, the sooner you get your ticket, the lower your price will be!

A few words about the event, followed by event details below:

This is the only event that is managed and operated by salsa professionals and event professionals. (Heck, I've been teaching and promoting and performing mambo/salsa dancing in three styles since even before salsa became this popular!) You know this event is THE event you don't want to miss. 4. "Salsa Pervert" Campaign?

In 20+ years of sending out an email about dance, this is probably the second time ever I send out anything about specific individual who is accused of causing harm on other people. Now, I haven't confirmed the following information first-hand, so I cannot back it up myself. So you are responsible for verifying the following information.

But most importantly, as a woman myself, I know it's always a good idea for us to be on a defensive side and protect ourselves. Gentlemen, I give that there are female dancers with attitude and bad manners too. But remember, however bad they may be, that person is someone's mother and sister - like YOUR OWN mother and sister!
