Finlatics Start-Up Strategist Experience Program

Finlatics is accepting applications for the ‘Finlatics Start-Up Strategist Experience Program’, an online live project that helps students gain work experience in building, launching & scaling a start-up at the National Law University, Lucknow.

 

The program is running at leading campuses, including IIM Ahmedabad, IIM Calcutta, NLU Delhi, NLSIU Bangalore and NALSAR among others, and was curated at the prestigious Atal Incubation Centre, supported by the Atal Innovation Mission, NITI Aayog & Government of India.

STRUCTURE of the live project:

1. Learn, understand & implement the usage of various tools & techniques required to break down a business idea into a business model

2. Use the market-first approach to take a start-up from an idea to a product

3. Work on the launch strategy of a start-up to help it achieve a product market fit

4. Gain an understanding of how to build the correct team for a start-up

5. Prepare a pitch deck and learn how to pitch to investors in the process

6. Work on start-up ideas across sectors like sustainable & consumer tech, digital media & OTT, and electric vehicles, among others.

The project is doable along with any other commitment due to its work-from-home and online structure. 

Student OUTCOMES:

 

1. Certificates of Work Experience as a Start-Up Strategist

2. Letter of Recommendation on performance

3. Start-Up Strategist Performance Report - Being recognized in Skill Assessment for Human Resources by the Department for Promotion of Industry & Internal Trade, Government of India, We would also be issuing a Start-Up Performance Report (SSRP), a real-time reflector of acumen in launching & scaling start-up ideas.

Also, training is part of the project & hence, no prerequisites or prior domain knowledge are required to be a part of the project.

Project Duration: 1 month / 2 months (on students choice)

 

Project Start: Flexible on selected student choice. To balance the project along with any upcoming exams, assignments, or personal commitments, selected students can choose to start it once they are completed.

 

Project Break & Extension: Selected students will be eligible for a break during the project if they need it for any exams, assignments, or personal commitments. They can also take an extension in duration if they cannot complete it.

Time Commitment: 3 hrs per week

If selected, the program has a minimal induction fee of Rs.1999 + GST.

Fee Waiver: A fee waiver of 25% shall be given to all the students on the abovementioned minimal induction fee. This waiver will reduce the fee to Rs. 1499 + GST.

As today, 11.59 p.m. is the deadline to apply for the Finlatics Start-Up Strategist Experience Program, an online live project that helps students gain work experience in building, launching & scaling a start-up, please note:

1. Please note that no prerequisites or prior domain knowledge are required to be a part of this project.

2. In case you have any upcoming assignments, examinations, or personal commitments, you can pick a project start date after completing the same to help the project fit in with your schedule. 

3. You can pick to do the program in 1 or 2 months based on your schedule. You will be allowed a break during the project's tenure for any academic or personal commitment. You would also be allowed a Project Extension of an additional month in case you cannot complete it in your picked duration.
