Sub: Asking update on repair of Hostel washrooms

Respected Sir,

 I am Nisha, a 4th year student at  RMLNLU. I reside in room no.130 of the girls hostel. This application is regarding the horrifying incident that happened with me in the girls hostel washroom. I assumed that hostels are the safest place where a student can live freely without the threat of life, it was until 23 feb 2022 morning, a tile fell on my head suddenly in the hostel washroom, there was a severe blood loss and I was immediately rushed to the hospital and on top of this, no one from the university staff was there with me in the hospital.

I got four stitches on my head. MRI and CT Scan was done later. The doctor said if the cut was slightly more to the mid, it would have been a matter of life and death.

Since that day I have been suffering with the trauma and the consequences of the injury. I incurred mental as well as physical loss due to this which includes my study, money and most importantly my time. It`s been 10 days now, neither any aid has been provided nor any update has been taken by the university administration of my health. 

As evidence of what happened I have attached Photographs please have a look.

I am here not only for myself but all the students of RMLNLU who might be living under the fear of any medical emergency that may occur to them too. 

This could have happened to any of the students and the sad part is most of the students as well as professors are unaware that this kind of unfortunate incident has happened inside the university premises. I want to know if anything has been done regarding this serious matter. Any update on repair work of the washrooms of the university.
