As you can probably tell from the above, there’s a lot going on with this volume of Ball of Wax. First, I hand-picked ten local musicians from the Ball of Wax community, in addition to myself, who gamely agreed to participate in this project. Then I randomly selected the order in which we would cover each other’s songs*. On February 21st this CD – 11 brand-new recordings of Seattle musicians interpreting each other’s work – will be released with great fanfare, along with a live performance by as many of the involved artists as possible.
