Hello friends!

The newest volume of Ball of Wax Audio Quarterly (currently unspooling over at ballofwax.org and available for pre-order) is devoted to the theme of borders: literal and figurative, geographic and otherwise. The lyrical (and musical) inspirations vary, but our cause is pretty straightforward: funding the great work of RAICES at our southern border (who currently have a link on their home page to "help get babies out of prisons." Yes, this is America.).

We hope you will join us to celebrate the release this Friday at Woodland Theater, a lovely little venue in Ballard. We have a pretty astoundingly great lineup for you (plus my band, to kick things off). The show is all ages and thus booze-free, but there are multiple bars within stumbling distance. The cover charge is sliding scale, but the more you give the more we send to RAICES.
