Hello friends,

Here are some more details on the diving:

We will be leaving Sanur around 07:00-07:30am (pick-up at our villas) and drive to Tulamben in the north east. The journey will take about two hours. The dive sites should be well worth it (check out http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dzZRX8BMFlo) and we get to see some of the island on the way.

Certified divers can do three dives. Uncertified divers can do the PADI Discover Scuba Diving (DSD) course, which will teach them some theory as well as basic skills (equipment use, underwater breathing, equalizing air spaces, clearing water from the mask, etc.), and then do two dives. Depending on the depth of the dive sites, the beginners will be able to join the certified divers for one or both of the afternoon dives. One or several certified divemasters will accompany all dives.

In the evening, we will arrive back in Sanur between 05:00pm and 07:00pm.

The price for the three fun dives will be USD 129.00 and for the DSD with two dives it'll be USD 135.00. This includes everything, i.e.,
- Pick up/drop off service from our hotel
- All transportation,
- Full diving equipment rental
- 2 (DSD) or 3 (fun) fully supervised dives
- Lunch
- Bottled water,
- Beach towels,
- PADI Instructor
- Dive insurance

If you'd like to join, please provide your data in the following spreadsheet to allow us to plan the day: https://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?key=0AudTB-meCTXZdGtlVHg5dmRaWldQdkpzbGJxd1o3dkE&hl=en&authkey=CL6AgKQK

The participants of the DSD course will also have to fill in a medical form. I'll get back to with this later.

Cheers,

Sam

Hello friends,

I'm currently organizing a diving day on Saturday during our Bali trip. The idea would be to leave in the early morning, drive to a nice dive site (see details below), do 2 or 3 dives there and then return in the evening and join the rest of the group again.

Please let me know if you'd like to join. We'll probably be able to offer a program both for experienced divers and for beginners (the PADI Discover Scuba Diving course).

Dive sites I considered so far are Tulamben in the north east (offers easy diving, lots of animals and a great wreck) and Crystal Bay on Nusa Penida (supposed to be amazing, but also difficult with drift). Tulamben would be my favorite so far, particularly with beginners. Open to other suggestions.

Cheers,

Sam
