Baldwin Borough Public Library hosting: American Red Cross – Babysitter Training Course

 

 

The Baldwin Borough Public Library is pleased to announce it is hosting a certified babysitter training course from 10 am to 4 pm on Saturday, March 12, 2016, at the library.

 

This training is presented by the American Red Cross and will give those ages 11 and up an opportunity to become a certified babysitter.

 

This training will provide the knowledge and skills necessary to safely and responsibly give care for infants and children.

 

It will help participants with the following:

-                   Develop leadership skills

-          Learn how to develop a babysitting business

-          Keep themselves and others safe

-          Help manage behavior during babysitting

-          Learn basic child care and first aid


The cost of this all-day training is offered at the library for a discounted rate of: $72.25 per person. This includes a take-home training handbook, emergency reference guide, and CD-ROM.

 

This training is available to anyone ages 11 and up. Registrants are asked to bring a lunch.
