I was contemplating this today, so I just thought I would ask.
When I hear someone... "I" did this, "I" won this, etc... I do wonder
how others focused they are. Do they ask you questions and listen to
your answers... this are just a few of the thoughts that come to my
mind.

How can you tell if they are ethical? That's easy. It will show in the
words they speak, the things they do, and the way they lead there
unit. An ethical director encourages without coercing, shows sincere
interest in all of her unit, admits to not knowing the answer to
something, and is forthcoming when you have questions.
