IMPORTANT: Metro water connection

Metro water connection for Balaji Nagar residents are issued. Their authorized a representative  to visit us to check the documents.

Those who want their water connection, Please be present at 10th August (Sunday) at 76 Balaji Nagar at 1 PM. The Representative also has agreed to meet us during this meeting and to explain the details and also to verify the documents we have. He will also help us process the demand note  and work order and including the installation of water connections. He may charge us which we can collectively bargain with him.

Do not lose this chance and I request all the Balaji Nagar Residents to attend the meeting on 8th August 2014 positively

On July 31st,  I had been to Zonal Office [ zone VII ] of Corporation of Chennai and met

Miss Nilavazhagi, Assistant Engineer and expressed my dissatisfaction on the bad

condition of Padikuppam Road.

Feedback received from her is given below :

" Sir we are ready to lay the road and also remove the enroachments . CMWSSB

Metro Water has to complete the sewerage work. We have aslo send a letter to

their Chindadripet office but no reply has come so far. You should inter act with

EE -Mr. Ambalavanam and / or Mr.Anandan-AEE. After the sewerage work is over

road work will be taken up immediately "

She was very cooperative.

I then spoke to Mr Ambalavanan and he directed me to Mr. Anandan. Today when

I spoke to Mr. Anandan, he said that Padikuppam Road is  a bus route road

and view of so many complaints received from individuals, he has directed the

Corporation to start the road work immediately. On    enquiring about the pending

sewerage work, he said we shall see later.

Let us all wait for another 15 days and in case no action is taken by the

corporation I shall personally go the the Chindadripet office of Metro Water and

meet both the officials and give a further feedback.
