Please make note of the following Common Mistakes made while
Formatting a Resume:
1. No abbreviations are allowed (Eg. Please do not write “Feb'04”. The
correct format is “February 2004”).

2. Please do not use abbreviations even for Educational Qualifications
like PGDCA, B-COM. Please write the complete explanation like:
Bachelors of Commerce.

3. Under Work History: Please delete the line "Work Experience should
be mentioned in Reverse Chronological Order (i.e. Latest Experience
should be mentioned first". That sentence is not to be shown in the
Resume.

4. The Role in every project has to be expanded. Please expand the
Role in every project to at least a 4-line explanation. The role is
the most important part of a project. It should highlight your
contribution to the project. Do not Cut Copy Paste the Role for all
the projects.

5. The Description of every project can be reduced to a max of 4 - 5
lines. This will ensure that your resume does not exceed 5 pages in
total.

6. Please complete a Spell Check.

7. Also, where ever you see a green underline or a red underline below
the words, please right click and click the "Ignore All". This will
ensure that the person reading the resume, does not see the green/red
underlines.
