Namaste All,

I am writing this very special mail to you all, with the request that we come out in large numbers in support of a National Cause.

All of you may be aware of the terrorist ambush / suicide bombing attack that happened on a convoy of CRP on 14th Feb. that resulted in the death of about 49 soldiers of CRPF. We, the Indian-origin residents of Frankfurt and neighbouring areas are organizing a Protest March on Saturday, 23rd Feb (that is, in 2 days from now) -- labelled as the Show of Solidarity -- and I would like to invite all of you to attend this event and participate in the protest march.

The event begins at 1200 Noon on Saturday, the starting point being the Kaisersackgasse (the end of Kaiser Strasse, right opposite Frankfurt Hbf) and the procession will go around the central districts of the city for about two hours and come to a finish at the Dom/Roemer Altstadt area

This is the time we need to show our strength for a good reason. Please forward this flyer to your Desi friends and contacts in different groups.

All required permissions have been obtained.Good police protection is arranged. The City of Frankfurt authorities have sent out a suitable press release to the International media to provide the necessary press coverage

About 50 to 60 Placards have been arranged Those of you who may be having Indian and German flags may please bring these along with you. *Please don’t forget to forward this message to your friends *

This is a common initiative of the Indian Diaspora in which we are involving all the India related Vereins in and around Frankfurt, cutting across all regions and languages. Please join us in large numbers and make this event a grand success. We hope to touch 500 participants ... which will be a measure of our success ... in making the Voice of India heard in the place where we work and live
