Hi, dear all,

This Sunday Feb 24th is the last day of Chinese New Year's celebration--Lantern's Festival,
We would like to take this opportunity to introduce this traditional festival to the students, and we would also cook some Tangyuan (汤圆, see attached), a typical dessert served at this time, for the students to taste during the break time.
Tang Yuan is made of sticky rice power and the filling is made of black sesame seeds and sugar, so if anyone is ALLERGIC to this food, please let us know ASAP,

We would also like to have some parent volunteers to help cook the Tang Yuan, and serve them to the students, if you can help, please let me know.

We will see you on Sunday :)

BTW, we would like to thank our students--Jett and Jacqueline Louie's family for donating their prize from CAAKC New Year's Party (50/50 drawing) to the Chinese School.

We would also like to thank Yanqing Xu, a student parent and teacher, who bought Tang Yuan for us from Los Angeles to make our Sunday special event happen,
Thanks for all your support.
