Change in school management team

Dear all,

Good afternoon. This is Ling greeting from China. Due to personal situation, I just left Bakersfield and need to step down from school principal position.

From Jan. 2013 on, Ms. Yi Lu will step in as school Principal, and Ms. Pei Hsuan Lin will step in as Vice Principal. I want to thank them both for stepping in in a very short notice and being willing to serve the school.

Ms. Yi Lu started teaching in our school since 2006. She has been working with me for our school matters since, and is well aware of school matters. Ms. Pei Lin started teaching in our school since 2004 and has her whole heart of passion for teaching Chinese for our students. I believe, together with all your support, they will take the Bakersfield Chinese School to another level.

As I kept mentioning in each school performance day, it is a team work for all teachers, co-workers, and all parents and students to make our school stand strong and sustain to provide a Chinese language and culture study platform. On behalf of the school, I sincerely ask you all to support Ms. Yi Lu and Ms. Pei Lin as well as all other teachers for our school.

It has been a wonderful journey serving the Chinese school and I enjoy a lot and learn a lot from the team and all students. Wish you all the best in the coming days and years!
