Bakersfield Apartment Recommendations?

Hey all

 

For those who haven't met me yet, I just recently moved out here about 2 weeks ago because I got a job reporting for Ch29.  I was wondering if anyone here could give me some apartment recommendations?  For a 1 bedroom or loft.

 

I'm still getting familiar with the area and hear that NW Bakersfield is supposedly the nicest, but I should be fine as long as I avoid a few more sketchy communities...  I work off of Rosedale and Oak near the 99.
