Hi

Today I will get a new indicator to replace to broken one.

I had a quick look last night, but I am unsure of the basic steps to
take to be able to replace the right front indicator.

Can someone possibly describe in 5 to 10 basic steps how to dismantle
the front of the bike to replace the complete indicator housing?

Thanks
Anton

Hi Anton

Am no expert at this, but recently took off my front headlight fairing
- this should get you pretty close to get access to the indicators.

To remove headlight fairing:

1 - remove two bolts on each side of fairing (just below indicators)
2 - remove two bolts underneath fairing (close together in centre just
below headlight)
3 - remove four screws holding speedo console onto fairing (from top
of speedo)
4 - speedo console can then pull upwards and come loose
5 - this gives you access to two more bolts behind speedo which holds
headlight assembly onto frame - close together in centre

The whole headlight assembly should then be able to be pulled forward
and give you access to indicators.

If you still battling, have a look at the workshop manuals (available
on this forum) which should show how it is all assembled.

Cheers
Andrew
