Hi, have any of you guys try to fit a performance exhaust on a pulsar?
And if so did you feel any difference in performance/fuel
consumption?

I'm looking for a deeper sound, will removing the baffles do anything?

Regards

NV,

I have thought of what you asking now for a long time, and frankly, I
don't think you should go that route. I wanted to get rid of my
standard exhaust to gain sound so people can hear me, but there is a
specific amount of back pressure that give you that low end torque. I
have seen many youngsters putting these nice looking scorch units on,
and it's very pretty, and has got a nice sound to it, but the
performance is gone. I was maybe thinking of stainless steel, front to
back, with a nice can at the back, nothing special, would just last
longer than the standard one, but then again, I'll get the original if
it ever needs replacing to maintain that level of performance I
currently have.

Hi guys,

Good point Scifer. I was also thinking about a mod to the exhaust for a better tone/note but why fix something that isn't broken?
