Hi all,

Bought my 2nd P220 (and 3rd Bajaj) yesterday.

After all the hell I had with the P180 my faith was renewed with the P220, never had a major hassle. When it was stolen last year I didn't even hesitate to buy another, that's how much this bike suits me and impresses me.

The new ones have some cosmetic differences and some more important differences. I've only had it for a day but I know the brake power is much improved. Using "Bybre" disc brakes front and back. Bybre is the name Brembo uses in India. So far so good, will keep you updated as I go along.

Cheers

hi Kiran

How is the new bike doing? I bought my 2nd Bajaj in January 2012. The
Avenger.

My 1st Bajaj were the Avenger 180cc. Lasted me 5 years and 60 000
km's. Got 27 km/Lt

Petrol consumption are worse on the 220cc. Only get 20 km/Lt.

False neutral on this bike is a nightmare!!
I only use the bike to commute to work and back.....a 50 km's trip.
When the bike was new I got 50+ clutch failures. Now with 2000 km's on
the clock clutch failures is down to 15+.
My 1st Avenger also had the false neutral problem in the beginning,
but only like less then 10 on my 50 km commute. After a couple of
thousand km's the problem disappeared.

With clutch failures I mean.....change gears by itself, false
neutrals....sometimes 2-3 in a row, slipping out of gear ext.
.
This is a safety risk.......specially when entering a busy
intersection and overtaking cars.

Do you also have this problem?

Greetings

Andre
