Assalam Alaikum Everyone!
THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO VOTED!
If you have not voted yet, I am sorry that the polls are closed and we apologize for not being able to hear your opinion. When we opened the polls, we said, "Mashwara rules." Keeping in that spirit, the majority has voted for Sunday. Therefore, TOMORROW (July 3) after ASR SALAT will be the official start of our weekly football game.
Also, I would like to mention a few more things regarding this activity:
- You are welcome to invite as many brother as you wish to participate in our weekly games. But, please keep in mind that our intention is to give da'wah to our Brothers to come the masjid. In other words, we would like the people who attend this weekly activity to have the intention of coming to Magrib salat afterwords and to attend our Helaquas.
- We welcome those who take initiative. So, if you want to set-up a pick up game during the week, we're totally down. However, currently it is difficult for us to maintain multiple games per week since many of us work; so we can't promise multiple games a week.
FINALLY, if there are any changes to the timing/place of this and other activities, we will place a post on the Facebook Page.
