WED SAILBOAT RACING: June 25th - 6:00

There isn't a lot of racing this summer in July around the sound. So we're lucky to have this night to get out and have some fun!
Mark, Kim and I have been going over to the Seattle Thursday Night Racing In Elliott Bay. It's a bit more like stock car racing. Huge number of boats, about 50-60, all piling into the marks six feet apart!
So far we have had about 18-20kt winds, all reaching courses.
It is loosely "organized" but nothing loose about the racing. Mostly 35'-65 footers going like hell!
This last Thursday it was up about 28-29 kts coming home!

And just a FYI: Brownsville Race this coming Sat. Very fun race with the West Sound Corinthian YC. Bunch of great guys running it having fun.
