Hi,

There was a request to entertain... I got a pretty nice and easy comonad sample, and can talk about it next time we meet... who's setting up the meetings? Any other topics?

I'd very like to hear Dan's talk which he gave at ICFP, I heard that it was very good. Of course if he would like to do that at our meeting.

I can prepare a talk on some topic, are there any requests?

I'm really busy lately and have not had sufficient time to even think
about programming outside of work. Does anyone else want to take over
setting up meetings, etc?

I know we got an offer to host at hi5 last meeting.

Ivan: you have admin access on the bahaskell google group so you can
change anything you need to.

When I get back around to working on this stuff, I'll be happy to jump
back in. I'd really like to see you guys move forward where I am not
a bottleneck for everyone.

Thanks,
Marshall

Does anyone else want to step up and get admin rights on this google group?

Let me know and I will make it happen.

I just changed the group configuration, everyone joining the group now must pass a simple Haskell-related “Turing test”. Hope that will fend the annoying spammers off.

Another option is to organize the meeting at Sun office in Menlo Park, however that was an unpopular option among those living in San Francisco.
