20th Annual Battle Against Hunger
Bike Ride
2022
Hunger
is surging in our communities. A perfect
storm of inflation, price hikes and an end to pandemic relief programs has
resulted in a significant increase in the number of children coming to the
Trenton Area Soup Kitchen (TASK). Sadly
that number will rise when emergency SNAP benefits come to an end.
TASK is now serving over 8,000 meals each week at 36 community
sites, including Trenton, Princeton, East Windsor, Ewing and Bucks County, PA.
The same factors are having a tremendous impact on The
Rescue Mission of Trenton.
So, once
again, we are asking for your support. You
can appreciate why contributions
are particularly critical this year.
For this, my 18th ride, I
pledge to bike over 1,000 miles by the end of the year .
Contributions can be made payable to the
Battle Against Hunger, mailed to us at 18 Blackwood Drive, West Trenton, NJ 08628. You may also charge your
donation by visiting the website and clicking on "sponsor a rider",
then Denny Rodgers. 100% goes to these
organizations.
Thanks for your much needed support.
