Rescue Mission & Adam Shanks Mini-golf Tournament and Auction

Friends,

Many of you probably received an email from the Rescue Mission regarding their extraordinary efforts during this trying time and the financial burden it’s placed on them. For those who haven’t, I’ve attached it to this email.

I traded emails with Mary Gay earlier today. They are in great need of funds and at this point there is no guidance on what will become of the Adam Shanks golf tournament and auction, their preeminent fund raising event. Historically, a group of us have donated to the auction with the intent of wining the Thunder Suite which is then donated back to the Mission for the residents to enjoy, continuing a tradition started by Chuck Inman. With the uncertainty of the event at this point, things are not likely to roll out in the same manner this year. Hopefully, there will be a golf tournament in the future.

In the meantime I’m asking you to please donate to the Mission to support them now when they need it most. 

As I would for the golf tournament, you may mail me checks and I will put them all together as a group in Chuck’s memory, or you can donate directly to the Mission by going to their website: http://rescuemissionoftrenton.org/donate.php.

This is a timely message and request.  

It is 6 yrs ago today that Chuck passed in the tragic accident.   

May the Lord continue to keep the community of the Rescue Mission & Task, as well as all of us, in the palm of His hand as we navigate our way through this trying time.

It is hard to believe that it has been 6 years today. Thanks to all of you for your prayers, dedication, and support.

As Rich mentioned, if you have time, please donate. I know we are all facing an uncertain future right now, but even $25 can go a long way to helping those with the most need.

whoa.....today? then, i suppose it made so much sense that, as i was cleaning and clearing, i gathered various items for the bike exchange. i don't know...he is always in my heart but at certain times, just more so.
