Dear all,
Please find attached a poster from Rob Tidbury, which lets you know a little bit about what will be happening at the Shotz/Sadie G end of the High Street on Sunday! It is all coming together. As information surfaces, I will pass it on!
There is a short Jubilee meeting tomorrow evening at 6pm at The Three Mariners, to just make sure we know we are on the same course.
We want to have a Maypole dance but need to gather a few more people to 'have a go'. Ideally you would need a sense of rhythm and a sense of humour! Children and adults welcome. I am arranging a time for a practise this week with Sue Curry, who is our wonderful dance teacher in the village. I have the Maypole, kindly borrowed from Bagshot Infant School and Sue has the music and the know how! It should be fun ............. honestly!
If you live on the HIgh Street, you should be getting a letter in the next couple of days explaining when the street will be closed. We are grateful to the residents and businesses for being very patient and understanding on our day of celebration in the village.
Don't forget, there is also the Jubilee Picnic on the field at the BPFA Pavilion on College Ride on Tuesday 5th June from 2- 5pm approximately. Bring your own picnic and some entertainment. There will be a bouncy castle or two (payment required) , maybe some facepainting if I have any left from the Sunday, light refreshements to purchases and a free Children's Music Session at 3pm. All welcome!!! Contact me for more details ...07890 864 074 or send an email to here!
Kind regards
Tina Carney
