This is the first time the Southern States have the opportunity to participate in the Yonex Eastern Collegiate Team Badminton Championships on Nov 4th-5th.
The Championships are open to all Colleges and Universities in the Southern United States.

2017-2018 Yonex Eastern Collegiate Team Badminton Championships
Each team will need a minimum of 4 players (with at least 1 woman) however it would be better to have a team of 8 to 12 players.
You can enter either Division 1 or Division 2.
Division 1 is the stronger division.
We can help coordinate a team for you.
The rules permit new teams or Colleges without teams to combine this first year of the Championships.
The tournament is a “head to head” competition.
In each “head to head” competition, a total of nine matches will be played: 2 Men’s Singles, 1 Women’s Singles, 2 Men’s Doubles, 2 Women’s Doubles and 2 Mixed Doubles.
Medals will be awarded to the top 3 teams in each division.
The Eastern Finals will be held in the spring of next year (details forthcoming).
At that event you may be playing the likes of Yale and Princeton – 27 teams competed last year in the NorthEast and Mid-Atlantic conferences.
