We're all set.

Road runner sports has us slotted for Saturday 10am-2pm in their campbell store. They will be offering cash $500 and 3 shoe certs worth $360 total. They have given  some specific instructions regarding email that gets sent out to runners (*parking raffle etc) and I will send it out to the team over the weekend.

then I also spoke to sports basement and after some initial hesitation, they are ok with us doing a second race packet pickup at a *competitive running store* in the bayarea. The leverage I used was that we want 2 days because of the huge number of regs and SB is giving us only 1 (they declined to give us the second day, i totally missed that email till this am). So we are out of the woods on this.

Here is a quick update on the bib pickup.

1. We are confirmed for Friday 6/8 from 4pm -8pm at sports basement. I have email confirmation from Sara on this. I will also be speaking to her this afternoon/evening to arrange for pickup of the sports basement gift certificates and goody bags.

2. I lobbed a call to Meghan from road runner sports yesterday and she could not speak since she was busy. She promised to call back today, so when she calls back, I will try and check availability for Saturday. Can Reg leads please respond back to this and let me know what slot we want on saturday? Do we want morning/afternoon/evening? Please confirm.

once I confirm availability, I will inform Sara from SB that we have one more location this year. I will state that this is because we have an unprecedented number of race registrations this year and we expect almost 850 ppl to be interested in bib pickup. so one location/day will not be enough. Hence we are having a second one.

        We will be sending out an email this Monday per our plan anyways to all patrons and vols about one last week left for registrations. You can send this update about pre-event bib pick up then, but it has to be send first thing in the morning though....

You can also state that this is the preferred option for people who want to avoid a standing in line at the race.
