DOE details

Folks :

 

 I think we should create a tab on the home page for DOE details.

 

It should have :

- Exact address. Just putting hellyer country park is not enough. Add a google link to the place

- Parking instructions. Emphasise on "limited parking" hence carpool

If the parking is full where should they park ? what is the alternate parking place?

- when to report (I know it is given there but you should restate it)

- If they have not picked up their bibs then they should allocateextra time, same for onsite registration etc etc...

 

I have been in situations when at the last minute I am looking for directions etc. The DOE tab is MOST useful ...and believe me there are MANy people like me out there

Jasneet all this information should be added to our facebook page. Its easy for people to lookup their facebook app to get this information. I was planning on adding a post about carpooling in FB today.

While I understand the power of Facebook, there are many people who are not FB savvy, hence I am pushing for the info on event homepage.

Sajini- It makes sense to add it in our website as well. When I'm looking for stuff from my smartphone, I would prefer hitting up the website than go to facebook and search for this. My 2 cents is to add it in both FB as well as the website.

Right on the front page, there is a box marked 'Event Information'. Most of the stuff you list are there.
I can add a blurb about parking.
