Hi all,

It's been a while since my last email, which was sent out before
entering Canada. Since then, I've cycled Kootenay, Banff, and Jasper
National Parks. It felt good to finally reach Jasper, Alberta, my
northernmost destination for the tour. Moving forward, it's only west
and south.

From Jasper, I've cycled hard to Kamloops, British Columbia. During
the next week, I'll be cycling to Vancouver and Seattle. There, I'll
spend a little bit of down time trying to decide if I want to make my
way to San Francisco.

Here are a few highlights of my travels during the past few weeks:

- Got thrown out of a gas station
- Had my first bear encounter...on the road
- A guy feigned being asleep when I walked up to his car asking for
help
- Crushed someone's sunglasses in an awkward hug
- My bike and my leg fell apart in Banff
- Got hit hard with snow in Jasper
- Told a bad joke to a huge group of Canadians...yeah, it was bad
- Posed as a Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge employee

Just go to the blog and start from 'Cranbrook, BC to Fairmont Hot
Springs, BC'. To make it easier, click on the title of the post, and
when you're finished reading that post, click on the top-right arrow
to move on to the next post in chronological fashion.

I took a lot of time to type these entries because so much happened,
so I hope you all enjoy them...even if it's at my expense.

Thanks,
Ryan
