BPCG Agenda for January 8th, 2013

Please feel free to add any agenda items you would like to see discussed for the January 8th, 2013 Badger Prairie Community Garden meeting! Seeing as how many ideas and thoughts have been shared here on the forum, I thought we could compile them into an agenda (time allowing we make it all the way through).

I've started a list here and we don't have to proceed in this topic order on the meeting day. If you think your agenda item fits within one of the committees please denote which one. If you have any questions or concerns on the agenda, you can email me: micahk(at)cacscw(dot)org.

I would suggest that the group discuss: "A request for CAC: to request that county run the sites electrics on solar or for solar to supplement the site." I'm bringing this up now because it should be requested as early as possible in the site planning. Are there any other site requests, we've talked about? 

For future meetings once we get an organizational structure in place (can we start a list of agenda items):

I would also suggest that we discuss assumptions about the nature of the garden that have been discussed in multiple places and to start forming a set of core principles for formal acceptance by the group. An example of this is garden use,  ie. To what extent do we want to encourage non-gardening usage of the area.  There are many other principles. In my experience when developing rules and creating relationships the core principles act as guidelines for work.
