Holy crap those new MacBooks look AMAZING! Anyone got any hands on
with them with pros and cons?

I messed around with them at the Boston store and I'm pretty
impressed. The whole trackpad being the mouse button sort of threw me
off at first but I can tell its one of those things you can get used
to real fast. Mouse gestures are a nice gimmick, not really useful for
photos but the gestures for exposé and spaces I really liked and
complement the UI very well. Other than that they look fantastic as
you can already tell, the glass screen enhances colors very nicely,
the aluminum seems very sturdy, and the design is much sleeker having
been made from a single piece of metal. Thats all I could really tell
from first glance, I only stopped in the store to escape the cold for
a few minutes but from what I can tell apple did good on these.

Kind of a random question but how was the glare off the glass?

Same as it is on a regular MacBook glossy display. Less even if I
remember correctly. I think the only difference is a sharper glare
with the glass. I know you're on an MBP so you don't get glare but I
got used to it on my MacBook. It's one of those things you don't
notice or doesn't occur in a regularly lit room but the color
saturation is fantastic.

I bought an MBP and I have not found anything wrong with it. It's
fantastic to use and the multitouch comes in really useful. The glare
is a bit annoying but only when I'm outside. I miss the front load
optical drive tho. And the front part of the case where i put my hands
is a bit sharp and sometimes hurts. Everything else that I can find is
just about perfect.
