I am thinkging of getting back into brewing (my last batch was the beginning of covid) but am looking to go to an all-in-one electric setup.  Does anyone have any experience with those or have any recomendations?

thanks!

Hi Steve,
Not all in one, but I use a 10 gallon tri-ply SS kettle and an Advanta 3500 watt induction unit.
I brew-in-a-bag and ferment in 7.5 Gallon SS fermenters, which fit in mini fridges. The fermenters are fitted with ball lock posts which allow O2 free transfer to kegs.

I really like my Grainfather G40.  Good for 5-10 gallon batches with about 26 lbs grain capacity, so gravity at 10 gallons is limited. Mine needs 240V - I forget if there is a low voltage version but brewing with 120V is too slow for me!

I built my own brew-in-a-basket system about 10 years ago because 240V systems were hard to get at the time, and I also think that 120V is too slow to heat up.
If it had been available at the time, I would have bought the Anvil system or G40.
If I was buying today I'd probably buy the boilermaker surface because it does not have an exposed heating element.
