Hi Everyone,

Julie asked that I share their news. Please see her email below. We have Molly in our thoughts and know she's a tough lady just like her Mom.

I will find out from Julie when she's due to be discharged. Please let me know if your interested in helping to make meals for the Higgins family. As they will be between home and visiting Molly, a few meals a week may be helpful and one less thing they have to worry about.

Thanks,
Shirah

Hi girls, just wanted to share our news.  I can't seem to find our full class list, so if you'd please forward along I'd appreciate it.   We are hanging in there, but I have to admit it all feels like a bad dream right now.  That said, I know we are also very lucky and Molly is doing well - I can tell she is a strong little girl!

I think Rob is going to take Jack to the My Gym tomorrow as a fun activity and some semblance of normalcy, so give them big hugs:)

It is with great joy that Julie and I announce the birth of our daughter, and Jack's little sister, Molly Cumming Higgins.  Molly decided she needed to join this world a little early and arrived on November 18th at 9:04pm, weighing only 2lb 15 ounces and 16.25 inches.  She is doing well so far and is good hands at the Brigham NICU, where she will live for the next few months.  We ask for your thoughts and prayers over this time for her continued health and development. Mom is also doing well, and she and I are taking this one day at a time.

She is a beautiful girl and definitely looks a lot like her big brother Jack.  It's going to be a while before Jack is able to meet his little sister, but he got to see Mom yesterday and gave her a big hug (though was a little confused by the wheel chair!).

With love from the Higgins Family

Yes, count me in to make meals.  When you speak to Julie, please tell her I send a big hug and my best wishes to everyone, especially little Molly.  It must be really tough, but so very glad to hear that she's doing well.

Hope all the other mamas are doing well.

Andrea

Omg congrats! I would love to help out with meals but my dad has been in the hospital and I'm already extended as it is. Please give Julie a BIG hug and I can't wait to see pictures.

Wow, iPhone inept. Sorry. Anyway, there are sites that help organize meals. Christine, how is your dad doing? Big hugs and speedy recovery to him as we'll.

Christine, hope your dad is okay.  Kristin, how 's your dad doing?

Also, in completely different news, I wanted to share that I'll be adding to the second round of babies!  I'm 14 weeks so due May 20th.

Please tell Julie congrats!

We are traveling a lot in the next months so I will not be around much for help with meals. Please give them my best!

Wow!  I think that the baby was born around 30 weeks.  I am pretty sure Julie was about a month ahead of me.  What a shock but it sounds like they have a tough little girl.  I wish them the very best.  Does anyone know where they live?  I am an awful cook but would be happy to send a giftcard for takeout at a place near their home.

Christine, I am sorry to hear your dad is in the hospital.  I will keep your family in my thoughts.

Andrea, congrats again!  So happy for you.

Sandy

Congrats Andrea! Hope your feeling well.

Once I hear back from Julie and Rob re:needs, I will send a link to a google spreadsheet for folks to sign up. They live in Washington square in Brookline, I am sure gift certificates would be appreciated!

Best wishes to all,
Shirah

Congrats to Julie, Rob, and Jack! Since I am quite a distance away, I don't think I can commit to delivering dinner. I am still suffering from morning sickness tooEmoji
I would love to send a gift card to them.

Congrats Andrea! Your little one is due on my birthday :-) I am due 5/26.

Christine- I hope your Dad is doing better. xoxo

I hope the rest of you are doing well and everyone has a Happy Thanksgiving!

<3,
Diana
