Thanks for starting this off. We are okay too.  Were watching in Coolidge Corner and got home just as the bombs went off. 

Pretty shaken. It did help that Dara started laughing when I started crying--thankful she will remember nothing about today.

Thanks for checking in. We are all ok. Paul actually works in Copley and they found a bomb by the glass tunnel that connects Copley and the prudential center.  At one moment they weren't allowed to leave, then at 5, they had a mandatory evacuation. I don't think my heart has ever raced so fast. He is home now. I think too, if I was still living in the south end, where would I have been?? I am very sad for everyone affected.i have the biggest pit in my stomach.  Life is so precious and fragile.

Brian's office is in the pru- thankfully he was working from home.  We were at a friends place for a play date in back bay.  We were going to go over but our lunch took forever to be delivered so we never made it out the door.

We are all ok. I was on boylston an hour before the bomb went off. I came home bc it was just too crowded. I am so thankful my family is ok and all of you are ok. This is so sad.

We are all ok. Was in Boston over the weekend and thought I'd stick around on Monday to go to the marathon, but decided Sunday night to drive back to Nahant. Family safe and sound.

I feel sick about all of this. I grew up 5 blocks from where it all happened and my mom still lives there. (She was in Nahant with me today) I spent many a Marathon Monday on Boylston St. An 8 year-old died. Probably watching mom or dad run the marathon, proud as can be. I held Charlotte so much this afternoon that she started to squirm out of my arms. "Put me down mama!"

I am thankful that we are all safe.

I had to teach last night and tonight and it was really hard. I was totally distracted and unfocused. My students are in Indiana (I teach online) and were sympathetic but didn't quite grasp how close to home it all is. 

I can't stop thinking about that little boy and his family.
