Photos?

Hey Mamas,

As most of you know I am a photographer. I have been focusing on teaching more than taking photos for the past few years, but am thinking about revitalizing my photo business and focusing on kids, babies, families and weddings. I have lots of wedding experience, but not as much recent experience with kids and babies, so I'm trying to build my portfolio.

I am looking for people to allow me to take photos of their little ones to use in my portfolio. I would give you 3-5 photos of your choice in return. (I would not charge anything, as this is really for my benefit in building my business. Unless you want lots of photos, then we could work something out.) I could come to you, or have you out to Nahant where we have gorgeous window light that is really nice for photos.

I don't have a lot of props yet, as I am just getting going and I don't have a studio yet, so the photos will probably be rather simple and natural. That's my preference anyway with photography. I am also open to doing work outside, especially as the kids get bigger and more active.

I'm open to suggestions too, as I realize many of you have worked with other photographers and might have an idea of what you like.
