Restore to directory option in Bacularis vs where option in restore job

Hi Marcin,

Is there any way to avoid the Restore to directory option in the Bacularis "Where" step and force the use of the restore job's where option?

We have a generic restore job that goes like this:

Job {

Name = "RestoreFiles"

Type = Restore

Client=baculaplr-fd

FileSet="Full Set"

Storage = Scalar-i3-2

Pool = "Default"

Messages = Standard-Restore

Write Bootstrap = "/var/lib/bacula/%n-restore.bsr"

Priority = 5

Allow Mixed Priority = yes

Where = /Volumes/backup-restore

Maximum Concurrent Jobs = 4

}

I want to use this where option and avoid the need to always change the Bacularis option.

Hi Rui,

Bacularis does not provide this kind of function to get the 'where'
path from the restore job. Nevertheless I agree with you that it is a
good idea to have it.

Thanks Marcin. For now, I just change the hard coded field text in usr/share/bacularis/protected/Web/Pages/RestoreWizard.page.

Good idea.

At the moment I added setting the 'where' from the restore job. Thanks again.

It required to do some element relocation in this wizard. Now the
restore wizard has not six but five steps that simplify it a bit. I am
attaching a screenshot.

All these changes will be available in the next Bacularis release.
